I take charge of running IT and digital projects, as project manager or as an external PMO: clear goals, a realistic plan, risks under control and a single point of reference between management, users and suppliers, through to delivery.
What I do, in practice
- Project start-up: goals, scope, stakeholders, plan and budget.
- Delivery with Agile and Scrum methods, or traditional ones when the context calls for it.
- Management of risks, changes and suppliers, with progress reports that management can read.
- Setting up or reorganising a PMO: methods, templates and indicators proportionate to the company.
- Recovery of troubled projects: diagnosis, replanning, restart.

For companies that have important projects and nobody with the time or the experience to lead them, and for those who need to coordinate several technology suppliers.

Frequently asked questions
What does a PMO do?
The PMO (Project Management Office) is the function that defines how a company manages its projects and monitors their progress: methods, planning, risks, progress, priorities between competing projects. In an SME it can be a single external person, for a few days a month.
Why entrust project management to someone external?
Because an external person has the project as their sole objective, is not caught up in internal dynamics and brings a tried and tested method. It is especially useful for one-off projects, for which hiring a permanent role makes no sense.
Is Agile right for every project?
No. Agile works when requirements evolve and you can release in small steps, as in software development. Where scope, deadlines and contractual constraints are rigid, a traditional or hybrid approach is a better fit. The method is chosen to suit the project.
