Digital transformation means taking manual work, errors and waiting out of a company's processes by using suitable software. I tackle it in three moves: understanding how work is done today, deciding what to change first, and delivering it in small steps that go into production.

What does digital transformation mean for an SME?
It is the replacement of manual activities and disconnected tools with processes supported by integrated software. In an SME it usually means getting rid of double data entry, shared Excel sheets and steps handled by email, not buying large platforms.
Do you have to replace all the existing software?
Almost never. In most cases it pays to keep what works, connect it to the rest via API and replace only the parts that are holding things up. Gradual migration costs less and does not stop the business.
How long does a digital transformation project take?
The initial analysis generally takes a few weeks. Delivery proceeds through successive releases, each usable straight away, so the benefits arrive during the project and not only at the end.
