About
One point of contact, from idea to production
I have been working in IT for over 30 years. Today I work alongside companies, professionals and local businesses as an independent consultant: I listen to the problem, propose the simplest solution that solves it, and then build it or coordinate those who do.
I am based in Trieste and work on site in Friuli Venezia Giulia, and remotely with the rest of Italy and abroad, in Italian and in English.

What does Christian Tirel do?
Christian Tirel is an independent IT & AI consultant based in Trieste, Italy. He works on integrating artificial intelligence into business processes, digital transformation, the development of websites, web platforms and mobile apps, and project management (PMO) with Agile methodologies.
Do you only work in Trieste?
No. I am based in Trieste and meet clients in person in Friuli Venezia Giulia; with the rest of Italy and abroad I work remotely, in Italian and in English.
Do you also work with small companies and local businesses?
Yes. A good part of my work is with SMEs, professionals and local businesses, for example in the restaurant sector, where I built a complete platform for websites, online ordering and apps. The method is the same as for larger projects, with a proportionate scope.
How does a collaboration start?
With an initial conversation, in person or by video call, to understand goals and constraints. I then prepare a written proposal with scope, timeline and costs: fixed price for projects with a defined scope, a day rate for consulting and PMO.
