Where do you start when introducing AI in an SME?
From a concrete, repetitive and measurable activity: answering the same requests, reading documents, compiling reports. You run a pilot project on that single process, measure the time saved and decide whether to extend it. Starting from the tool instead of the process is the most common mistake.
Does company data stay confidential when using an LLM?
It depends on how it is integrated. Via API, with suitable contractual terms, the data is not used to train the models; for the most sensitive data, open-source models can be run on your own infrastructure. The choice is part of the initial analysis, together with the GDPR aspects.
How much does an AI integration project cost?
It depends on the scope. After an initial conversation I prepare a written estimate; as a rule I propose a limited pilot project, so the initial investment is contained and the decision to continue is based on measured results.
